Facility

Our private boutique facility is a hidden gem conveniently located in the Aptos Hills of  Santa Cruz County just off of Highway 1 in Northern California. At Valen, we embrace the privilege of working with an amazing select group of horses and people. 

Turnouts

Turnout service is provided in our three large flat irrigated grass turnouts for horses to enjoy stretching their legs and grazing. Allowing horses to be horses and spend time outside of their stalls as much as possible.

Stabling

Our main barn has multiple spacious stalls, tack room, cross ties, and a washrack. We also offer a shed row barn with matted runs. Meals are fed 6 times per day with the highest quality hay, stalls are cleaned daily, and well bedded.  

Arena

Large 240’ x 120’ arena surrounded by a walking track and nestled against oak trees to make your horses feel safe and focused while training. Our Premiere geo-textile high-performance footing is formulated to help horses perform at their best.
